Traveling to Genting Highlands

My many times of traveling in Malaysia but last summer season was my first time to Kuala Lumpur. I spent a few days there with my teachers and friends. It took many hours away from my country (Thailand) but I did not sleep all the way because of I would like to see the variation nature from my country.

          Before arriving at Genting Highlands, we passed many fascinating places and stopped to visit them because from Thailand to Genting Highlands was far enough to take time so I do not want to tell all what places I have visited yet I would like to focus only Genting Highlands.

          My first glimpse of Genting Highlands as a bit of a shock because from the beginning until the end of this visiting was surprising with everything was on the hill such as avenue, entertainment place, hotel, transportations and so on.

          My started to the hill, I sight along the way the avenues are lined with the deep greens of lush trees and plants and the colorful of bus running through the street. The bus I was sitting ran gradually higher, higher and higher.

          After I got off from the bus, I looked around that area and looked up to the sky I saw cable car were very high, took people to the highest place. My teachers, friends and I wanted to go there. So, I spent the whole afternoon at the Genting Highlands. It was a place that we can find a shopping center, and indoor theme park and numerous other attractions here.

          Before we were getting on the cable car, we had to wait for along time due to it was teaming crowded; we walked step to step in lines like trains confront each other with feeling hot, stuffy and bored. However, when the wonderful time was coming so that feeling was run away and all of us could get on the cable car, I have never touch before. While I was in cable car I felt extremely excited,  I gazed to the lower I could see the deep greens of lush trees and plants,  the bus and car ran on the street,  the buildings and the environment around us with smoke which I do not know where is it come from?. And aside from the lush surroundings and refreshing cool air made I felt joyful with this area.

          A magnificent hilltop city is the perfect way to describe the

Genting Highlands Malaysia, only 50 kms from KL, the Genting Highlands keeps us busy with many events and things to do. Genting Highlands vocation can be the perfect way to spend quality time with family as well. The Genting Highlands have two theme parks that area, the other exciting element to the area offering many rides and all kind of other entertainment with a double loop, cork screw roller coaster and water park kids will go a crazy over this thrilling amusement park. Some of my friends and I offered to buy a ticket of train can soar into the air. The first I got on that train I was much exited because I had never played like this before even at dream world in my country. So I grasp the handle in front of me securely. When the train ran away, the first time it moved slowly and gradually fast with finally speed up. When the train turned left and turned right with very fast, I then closed my eyes and other friends screamed out with thrilling.

          I went to Kuala Lumpur in this time; the Genting Highlands is my impressive place that I would be pleased and never bored. Here whether adult or kids have the pleasure of engaging in both exciting indoor and outdoor activities and the best part is that families can stick together and enjoy a wealth of family-style attraction.

Taman Tamadun Islam

Visiting Taman Tamadun Islam

          My trip to Terangganu in Malaysia was in Rainy season. My teachers, friends and I went there together by bus. The main place we need to visit was Taman Tamadun Islam (translates to “Islamic Civilization Park”). It is located in Wan Man Island in Kuala Terangganu. I have heard about that park from my teacher with including many mosques from around the world as duplicate but I had never gone before. That time was my new experience on the year 2010.

          Taman Tamadun Islam is an interactive journey of Islamic monuments of the world. It is an entertainment and educational destination. The initial scope involves the design of a site concept plan for educational and entertainment  precincts, which include lagoons, a convention centre, Islamic gardens of the world, an educational theme park, Wetlands and environmental reserves, and Islamic architectural images from around the world.

          The first I got off from the bus and stride to the area of Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI), I was surprised with the difference things with my country. I took a look around that park, it was very wide, beautiful, pleasing, delightful and attractive me to sight more into inside.

          I stepped to inside the park, I saw many tourists needed to stamp passport of Taman Monuments before going to sightseeing the most significant monument park ever built in this region, housing 21 scaled replicas of historical Islamic monuments and mosques from all around the world. We were standing like a train to stamp passports amidst crowded from many parts of the world. I did not remember all which places I faced first and which places I faced after. But I will struggle for as far as I can recollect what I have visited.

          One place I could not help but gasped when I saw the sacred “Dome of the Rock” right before my eyes. I mean, I was not even in Jerusalem; the monuments here were built so detailed that they resemble almost exactly the original buildings from the original place, only the size is smaller. However, the beauty of these monuments of centuries of age is enough to make amazed of realization how people manage to build such architecture during their area. The interior views of the “Dome of the Rock” replica was also made to look as its original and I could not help but stunned, even they built the foundation stone at the center of which in the Muslim belief, Prophet Muhammad used to step on during  the Isra’ and Mi’raj event. It also has significant value to the Jews as they pray facing the very stone. The Dome of the Rock replica is the only monument replica here built big enough for people to enter inside it.

From Jerusalem we went ahead to Andalusia in Spain where this Alhambra palaces and fortress was in the 14^th century by the Moorish rulers at that time. From this sightseeing, I would just be happy visiting Alhambra replica here.                                                                                   

          I forward to Taj Mahal, it is gorgeous building. The white color of the old building made me felt
very nice and wonderful. After this I went to sightseeing other things, I was wondering, how huge this
 monument park is? It is so huge. There are two huge mosques here are Mohammad Ali Pasha Mosque of
Egypt (built in 19^th century) and Suleymaniye Mosque of Turkey (built in the 16^th century). Also, I could
see the very tall minaret here, it is the Kalyan minaret of Uzbekistan. It is original building measure 48
meters tall and built in 1127AD. Amazing, right?

          I walked to the next building, it is the most familiar among all, it should be the Holy Masjidil-
Haram of Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Actually the original mosque is too huge, but the replica seems too
small. So we could not enter to inside.

          The last mosque replica that I will tell you is the Prophet Mosque of Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Same came with Masjidil- Haram, the replica now looks too small as well. Yet, being here rather brings
 you sentimental value pondering great Islamic architecture from all around the world. In fact I have
been to many countries seeing their most historical monument, just in a few I did not even cover all
monuments yet such as The great mosque of Qairawan, (Tunisia), Minaret of Xian(China),Sultan Omar
 Ali Saifuddin Mosque (Brunei), Pattani Mosque (Thailand),National Mosque (Malaysia) and etc.

Sigh, I missed talking some transportation that took me and my friends to see all of monuments from a monument to another. It was the lovely train with yellow in the bottom and red in the top. It was very long like the original train and it ran slowly around the park.

After visiting all mosques in TTI, we then had lunch together beside the wide and beautiful river. It was fresh weather with the wind was blowing and waving. By the way, I did not interested in the meal there because it was less of delicious and too expensive.

After finishing lunch, the one that I was unforgettable to tell you is Kristal Mosque. It
is a prayer mosque, not a replica. It was very surprising for me too because I had never
seen skeleton structure of mosque before. Most of the walls covered with glass and less concrete
 are used. From TTI area, we need to walk passed the long bridge to Kristal Mosque and under the
bridge and the mosque is river. So I just say it was very picturesque.

To sum up a visit Taman Tamdun Islam(Islamic Civilization Park) will be an

experience to remember.    

Spending time in Kenangan Hotel

Last rainy season, I spent days in Trangganu of Malaysia. The hotel I had checked in was quite good quality hotel. My room was on the second floor-medium large and well furnished with a comfy double bed and single bed, closet, armchair, table with drinking water and glasses. All were neat and tidy, nicely decorated. I then unpacked my things and took a rest a few minutes. Later, I entered to bathroom, it was quite not good because of unnew toilet and floor so it made something looks unclear. Anyhow, there were  many things to be comfortable service such as toilet with tank, sink, shower, soap, and etc. One more thing, television was in the room and had a good brightness with light and lightness from outside through the window pane. So, I could also had sightseeing over it.  

A Journey in rainy season

On a day of the homeward trip from Trangganu, we were getting at Malaysia immigration office around 3:00 p.m. We got out from the bus hurriedly and amidst of heavy rain. We troted to stamp passports. Suddenly, we stood in lines like a train moving to another station. After stamping passports, we took a bus to Thai border immigration office and spent only a few minuites for the last stamping. While we were on the bus we felt very cold like living in the snow. Observing atmosphere outside, we could not see anything because of slightly darkness. 

The sun

The sun was shining brightly through my eyes when I was looking up to the sky. It was a very big lonesome circle among the brightness and wideness sky. Its bright could not compare with others and can be seen in most parts of the world every day. My eyes could not gaze it properly with feeling pain and my tear would flow out sometime because of the full light strongly bright sunshine. By the way no one has touched it or even come closed to it.

The Rain

I stared out through the window into the dreary scene. Faint splattering sounds came from the outside hissing as they rolled down the dark glass. The dry clothes in the sun became wet because of the rain pouring down. This is the nature of things.

Describing the portrait

The picture is a woman with two monkeys. She is in her twenties. She is wearing glasses and she is quite slim. She is about 160 centimeters tall. She is fair and has got shoulder-length hair. She is wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and blue sneakers. She has rosy cheeks with a mole on her chin,  small ears and quite big flat nose. Her eyes are narrow especially while she is smiling. She is a kind and friendly lady with her smiling face. She has the most beautiful lips which sparkled when she is speaking. In addition, she is a visitor carrying a big black camera in her hand and hanging its belt on her neck. Also, she is carrying a black rucksack bag at the back. This lady looks as if she is a very cheerful, broadminded and confident.

For the monkeys, they are climbing on her. Their hands are touching on her hair and their legs are standing on  her shoulder. These monkeys seem to be enjoy themselves very much and familiar with this lady.

What is the importance of reading books?

Reading enables the mind to think over objects of interest, which enable a person in making informed decisions, its food for the soul, for it nourishes the human intellect in probing things deeper, analyzing things, and provide guidance to people, to instances they have not yet been exposed to life.

You see and remember new words and are given examples of how they are used, expand vocabulary. You see new writing styles like, 1st person, limited, and narrative. Reading keeps your brain working and keeps you up to date with language and modern vocabulary or slang. Reading expands your imagination and your knowledge.

My family's members

My Family

          I have seven people in my family. They are grandmother, mother, father, three sisters and one brother. I am a second. Let me tell their appearances and characters.

          The first person is my grand mom; she is about seventy eight years old. She is medium height. She is very old so she has wrinkled skin. She has a round face with a mole on her chin. And she has hum pack but does not carry a walking stick to walk to somewhere. However, she is diligent to walk to many places to find something that she wants to do. She has got grey long hair with a little black hair and tied in a bun at the back. She loves to recite the Qur’aan very morning and night. Also, in the morning after reciting the Qur’aan, she always sews the curtain. When she is reciting the Qur’aan or reading something she often wears glasses. She has loud voice and she is very friendly sort of person. Another is thrifty but not stingy woman.

          The second person is my dad; he is forty nine years old. He is tall and muscular, with a mustache and thin. He has dark skin and has got dark little hair. He has a scar on his cheek and moles at his forehead and chin. He has got a prominent nose. When he goes to somewhere (far away), he always wears jeans. Moreover, he is scold but reasonable. He works as a chef at a restaurant in Malaysia. He is patient in his working even though he feels tired or gets a bit of sick.

          The third person is my mom, she forty-six years old. She is quite short and has white skin. She has around face as my grand mom and a small nose. She has got dark long hair with a little grey hair. She is about plump shape. She wears a gold of necklace, a ring and earrings. Furthermore, she likes cooking very much. Everyday, she will cook some meals for her family. Unfortunately, my mom is grumble person.

          The fourth person is my elder sister, she is in her twenties. She is shorter than me. She is not fat but quite plumb. She is calm woman and she likes reading Islamic books. She always wears a big veil and long dress.

          The fifth person is my younger brother; he is about sixteen years old. He is tall     and a full board. He has not dark skin and also not so white. He has two moles on his face but now he already removed them out. He has got curly short hair and pink lips. He eats a lot yet he is thin. Besides, he is a quite lazy person. He sits on the couch all weekend watching T.V. Nevertheless, he is pleasant boy.

          The sixth person is my younger sister; she is ten years old and has dark skin. She has a round face with a prominent nose and beautiful teeth. Her eyebrows are fruitful. Also, she has got long curly hair. She always gets up early morning everyday and buys food for breakfast everyday as well. She is nice, diligent, friendly, pleasant, strong, honest and helpful girl. I am impressive with her very much. Sometimes, if she has something doubts, she is curiously girl and she is never aggressive to anybody.

          All of these are my family member. I am proud to be with them forever.
